Doctor Strange: 7 Post-Credits Scenes They Should Have Used

3. Strange Bumps Into The Guardians Or Spider-Man

A lot of Marvel's post-credits scenes have been used to tease the movies they have coming out next - Iron Man 2's stinger teased Thor, and Ant-Man's played a cut-down scene from Civil War. This in mind, it would have been logical to assume that Doctor Strange could have done the same, and up next on the Marvel slate? Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

What's different here is that it would actually make sense, in context, for Strange to bump into either of these heroes. He and Peter Parker both live in New York City, so if the former returns home after his journey in the film, bumping into the web-head - or having him swing by while Strange is going about his business - is within the realm of possibility.

With the Guardians, we've already mentioned how Doctor Strange's subject matter deals with alternate realities and inter-dimensional travel, so it's feasible that the Sorcerer Supreme could open a portal of some kind that leads into space. Could we see the Guardians fighting the 'multidimensional being' featured in the film's concept art?

Or, alternatively, a Guardians or Spidey tease could be entirely detached from the main feature and serve merely as a promotion for each respective movie. It makes sense given that both films are a only handful of months away, and Doctor Strange's post-credits scene could easily have been reserved for a spot of Marvel self-promotion.
