Doctor Strange: 7 Post-Credits Scenes They Should Have Used

1. Avengers Recruitment

Given that Doctor Strange is one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe, it wouldn't come as a surprise to learn that the Avengers want him to join the team as quickly as possible. Strange's appearance in Infinity War was recently confirmed by Benedict Cumberbatch himself, but his recruitment to the Avengers is something that Doctor Strange's post-credits scene could have - and should have - shown us.

For starters, Infinity War has a lot of heavy lifting to do already, without having to go through and show each character being persuaded to join the fight, so getting it out of the way here would be logical. Also, if Tony or Steve did pop up here, it would clue in less-informed audience members to the fact that Strange is in the MCU, a smart move on Marvel's part because not everyone is aware of the character's history.

Plus, a scene of this nature could have shed some light on the circumstances surrounding the main Avengers group. The end of Civil War didn't exactly leave things 100-percent toasty between teams Cap and Iron Man, so if it was Cap who showed up to talk to Strange, does that mean he's leading the whole team? And if it's Iron Man, does that confirm that Cap's out of the picture and indicate that Stark still wants to build up his own side with powerful heroes?

Whatever the case, it would be plain awesome to see Doctor Strange interacting with Iron Man or Captain America on the big-screen, and if this is indeed how the post-credits scene plays out, it could be Marvel's best one yet.
