Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness: 10 Rumours That Could Change Everything

8. Miss America Will Appear

Phase four will not only see the return of characters we won't have seen for some time, in the case of Jane Foster a very long time, there will also be plenty of new blood coming into the franchise. We already know the likes of the Eternals and Shang-Chi will headline these newbies, but Doctor Strange may bring in another.

According to an alleged casting call for the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Studios are looking for a ‘teenage Hispanic female who will be a supporting lead in the film’. Since there aren’t exactly a wealth of characters in Marvel’s backlog that would fit this bill, it seems that America Chavez may be coming to the MCU.

The alter ego of Miss America is a powerful being from another dimension, so the Multiverse of Madness seems the perfect introduction for her, and she could certainly help Strange fight against whatever is coming. She can fly, is able to open portals between different dimensions, and has super strength to boot.

Depending on the characters Marvel introduces in phase four prior to Doctor Strange 2, America may be the first openly gay hero the MCU has brought to the world.
