At this point it's revealed that Wanda's absolute goal is to use the Darkhold book to "dream-walk" - that is, basically astral-project herself into the body of her variant self in another universe.

To be precise, Wanda wants to inhabit the body of herself on Earth-838, where she lives a nice suburban life with her own versions of sons Billy and Tommy.

This leads to a sequence unmistakably inspired by Sam Raimi's own Evil Dead films, where Wanda's dream-walk is captured from a creepy, roving first-person perspective.

838 Wanda then begins to experience an array of terrifying phenomena - such as a photo of herself moving, peas moving around a plate on their own, and even a literal storm in a teacup - before she's possessed by the dream-walking Wanda.
