Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

In the first Doctor Strange movie, Rachel McAdams was brought in as little more than a love interest for the titular character. She was the pullback through which Strange’s depression and bitterness could truly be shown.

In the sequel, this same version of Christine Palmer was featured for around two minutes. She got married before her reception was interrupted by a huge octopus creature trying to kidnap America Chavez. Instead, the main Christine in the movie was of a different universe.

Working in something of an upgrade from Earth-616, which she decided to name apparently ignoring the basic theory of numerical order, Christine-838 was working with the Illuminati and doing important work revolving around the multiverse.

Though never relegated to the dreaded role of damsel in distress, Christine ultimately did little more than tag along for the majority of her time on screen. Again, she was used more as a tie to the morality and human side of Stephen Strange - a solid role but never rising above to anything more.
