Doctor Strange: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

Okay, so he's not in a great deal, so it's a little unfair to rank him, but Thor's inclusion in Doctor Strange is an exciting one because of what it represents.

First, he offers the chance to see Doctor Strange, the God Of Thunder AND Loki all involved together in Thor Ragnarok (since the mid-credits scene seems to have been taken out of that film entirely), and that's no bad thing. Seeing the most mystical/magical elements of the MCU group together before joining the others for Infinity War is a very smart move.

And then there's the suggestion of Taika Waititi's influence on the character glanced briefly here too: following on from the comedy short released around Civil War starring Thor and Hulk, it feels like the director is building a more comedic version of the character, even as the dramatic stakes in his universe increase. I can't be the only one wishing we could have the straight up comedy that's balled up in there as a stand-alone film in its own right?

It's just great to see Thor as a hyped character again after the unpleasantness of The Dark World.
