3. Some Of The Humour Is A Little Distracting

Don't get me wrong, a lot of the humour in Doctor Strange is great: the dynamic between the humorous Strange and Wong is particularly nice (and has a charming pay-off), but there's also some humour that sticks out horribly. The mention of Beyonce in particular is awful and Strange asking if Wong only has one name "like Adele" pulls you out of the film a little too much.

Also, how much shelf-life do references to Beyonce and Drake have? Maybe it's because I'm not a massive fan, but they just look like unnecessary flirtations with making the film dated.
