Dream Casting Nic Cage's Tiger King Series

Poor old John Reinke has been through some damn tough times in life, but has always done his best to keep his head up in spite of some rather traumatic experiences. But to Reinke's credit he has proved a hard man to keep down. In spite of having prosthetic limbs and working for a soulless entity like Joe, he always seemed to keep a smile on his face. Hell, he even defended Joe at his trial and clearly still has a soft spot for him.

When looking for a guy who can look for the best in a bad situation and put a smile on our face at the same time, then why look any further than Ricky Gervais. His dry sense of humour would be very fitting that of Reinke, and Ricky would no doubt have a few good laughs at his character's fate, just as Reinke would. It would also be a nice change of pace for Gervais, as his character from hit show After Life would have to be a little draining after a while.

If Gervais was unavailable then our second pick for the role would be either of The Hangover's stars Ed Helms or Zach Galifianakis. The latter's laid back mannerisms would very much be fitting for John Reinke, but equally Helms would no doubt match Leinke's laconic nature.
