Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves Review - 6 Ups & 4 Downs

3. It's A Bit Too Long

If there's any movie that would benefit from being ultra-brisk and breezy, it's surely a D&D adaptation, right? Except, Honour Among Thieves ends up clocking in at a beefy 134 minutes, and you'll likely feel that runtime by film's end.

Though the pacing is solid from the jump and the third act certainly doesn't let up, the flabby middle-portion draws easy attention to its own torpid, bloated nature, and this is clearly where the most obvious cuts could've been made.

While the movie is light and undemanding enough that nobody's going to be actively angry about the excessive runtime, did anyone need this thing to be a second over two hours? In an era where blockbusters just feel like they keep getting longer and longer, some editorial restraint is very much welcome.
