Dylan Baker talks Spider-Man 3 & 4

WireImage_2404490.jpgMore Spidey news today as Dylan Baker (Dr. Curt Connors) has spoken about his role in Spider-Man 3 and the possibility of a bigger role in future movies. Baker said this.... "In this one I am still in my business suit and that's all I'll say. I'm kind of the guy that Peter Parker needs to come to whenever he has those quandaries about what's going on... All I can say is we're going to see a lot more of at some point if what Sam says is true, and Sam is the guy who knows, so I am sticking with him." SPOILERS AHEAD.... My favourite Spidey villains were always The Green Goblin and The Lizard. Now we've seen the Green Goblin expertly played in the first movie by Willem Dafoe but we have yet to see The Lizard on screen......except a small cameo from Dylan Baker as the one-armed Dr. Curt Connors. You see, the Doctor lost an arm in military combat and became obsessed with experimenting with reptilian biology and DNA in an effort to grow back an arm. Well as usual with Spidey villains, the experiment went wrong and in Connors case it turned him into a Lizard. Now the fact that Baker hints at more of his character, can only mean that we are set to see The Lizard as a future villain in the Spidey universe. One thing I have loved about the franchise is their little hints at future events and character turns, like the small cameo's from Baker and Bruce Campbell and the slow progression of Harry Osborne into a villain. My personal geek wish would be to see Spider-Man go up against Mysterio and The Lizard in Spider-Man 4. There is no doubt in my mind that Bruce Campbell would be a fucking incredible villain for the franchise. source - if magazine, dark horizons
