4. Pracher - A Beautiful Mind
2001s Best Picture winner has been dissected since its release for its take on troubled economist John Nash played by Russell Crowe. In that some have questioned Ron Howards decisions in telling the story, omitting facts like Nashs divorce, anti-Semitism and medical usage. The worst mistake in my opinion is casting Harris to be an uninteresting boring villain character Pracher. The man has done memorable work as villains, but here he was giving nothing to work with as a G-man who works to use Nashs skills for code breaking but is he really? He can do great things with evil characters, just when he is more invested in the work, clearly not here. As a man who tries to exploit the abilities of the protagonist... or is he?
