Ed Harris & Matthew Fox Are Recruited For WORLD WAR Z

Filming is imminent in the U.K. on Paramount's $125 million zombie epic World War Z and Deadline reports of two notable actors in talks to join the cast - veteran Ed Harris and former Lost headliner Matthew Fox. French actress Julia Levy-Boeken from the Israeli series alufa Ha is also newly on board the film which Brad Pitt leads as the UN researcher who travels the globe interviewing survivors to chronicle how humanity survived a zombie apocalypse.

James Badge Dale plays Captain Spake, a U.S. soldier who did warn his superior commanders of how zombie threat but nobody paid him much attention and The Killing€™s Mireille Enos plays Pitt€™s wife.

Adapted by Matthew Carnahan (Lions for Lambs, State of Play) from Max Brooks€™ popular work of fiction, Marc Forster directs his first movie since Quantum of Solace and it promises to be the most detailed and intense work of zombie cinema we€™ve ever seen, especially with the lauded DP Robert Richardson (Shutter Island, Inglourious Basterds) on board.

Shooting in the U.K. will take place in London and Glasgow, the latter filling in as Philadelphia. Fox will fit this role in before he takes on the serial killer part in the new film reboot of James Patterson€™s Alex Cross detective series, formerly starring Morgan Freeman and now led by Tyler Perry that begins production in August.
