Edgar Wright: 10 Moments That Prove His Utter Genius

1. The Moment He Pointed A Camera At Simon Pegg And Nick Frost

pegg and frost This is the easiest and most obvious. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have become the best comedy duo today. Period. The day Edgar Wright pointed his camera at the two of them and yelled, "action," was a day comedy should never forget. They play off of each other better than any other two actors working today. They're like two perfect combinations of Bill Murray and Jerry Lewis. And I know what some of you are thinking, "what does this have to do with Edgar Wright being a genius?" Well, it's because he's the one that did it. He pointed that camera and pulled those performances that made us fall in love. He's the one that knows better than anyone else how to get the absolute best out of this duo. Remember the movie, Paul? Simon and Nick were in fine form but you have to know what to do with the rest of a movie, a scene, a moment in order to produce the best entertainment possible. This is essentially what Edgar Wright's genius boils down to: having perfect control of the gas pedal. He knows when to push and ease off which provides a nice ebb and flow to all his work. He has a wild imagination which exceeds most of ours and the day he pointed his camera at Simon Pegg and Nick Frost he found his vehicle. His sports car. So what do you guys think? I'm married and live in New York with my wife and pets. I'm a writer and definitely not a comedian (just ask my wife). I've successfully linked my twitter, goodreads, facebook and google+ pages although the successful aspect of all that is up for debate. I also started my own blog on wordpress and have just finished my first novel, The Violent Winds. Now it's time to try and trick some unsuspecting fool into buying it.
