The Reverend Green is played by Michael Smiley, who as mentioned earlier cameos as a zombified Tyres from Spaced in Shaun of the Dead. He once again reprises his collaboration with Wright in this film, even being given a larger part into the bargain. The other two collaborators have history with Wright as well Reece Shearsmith turned up in Yvonnes party in Shaun of the Dead and played Dexter in Spaced, whereas Nathan Burns played the title character in Channel 4 show Nathan Barley, which features several Wright collaborators such as Julian Barratt.
