The music to the opening scene comes from Zelda: A Link To The Past (with sound effects), which Young Neil is constantly playing on a Nintendo DS Lite. It also applies when Scott walks to the bathroom later to drain his pee bar the hallucination cover version there needed personal clearance by Zelda Creator Shigeru Miyamoto. Interestingly, A Link To The Past was never released on the Nintendo DS Lite - the version Young Neil is seen playing is in fact the Four Swords expanded version that was released on the Gameboy Advance, which explains why there's no cartridge in his handheld. Oh, and bonus points in the above image for the T-shirt bearing the Nintendo 64 logo.
