3. ...But The Cameos Are Awesome

No spoilers here, of course, but the cameos which we do get have clearly been carefully selected by Gilligan for maximum dramatic impact.

Some of them are obvious and totally unsurprising, while others will legitimately catch even hardcore fans off-guard.

Whether we see characters returning in the present or resurrected from the dead in flashbacks, these cameos all lend plenty of added meaning and emotional depth to both Jesse's and their own arcs.

Especially brilliant is the return of a certain veteran character actor who had a minor role on the series, who practically steals the movie during his few scenes.

And because they were featured in the trailer, we can of course talk about Skinny Pete and Badger (Matt Jones), who while only having small roles here, nevertheless get a fittingly poignant, brief reunion with Jesse.

The temptation to give fans every cameo and recurring character possible must've been overwhelming, so props to Gilligan for making such shrewd choices here.
