The second season focuses on Vince's upcoming role in the film adaptation of Aquaman as the eponymous hero. Whilst Ari faces difficulty closing the contract, Vince manages himself, to convince the film's director, James Cameron, that he is right for the part. Because who could say no to his adorable puppy dog eyes? Just as things look like theyre on track for our loveable hero, Vince's ex-girlfriend, Mandy Moore, iscast as his leading lady. Though she is engaged to another man, Vince pursues her and (briefly) wins her back. Mandy eventually goes back to her fiancé whilst the heartbroken Vince vows to see the movie through to the end - like the trooper he is. Ari has his own problems as his boss and partner, Terrance McQuewick (Malcolm McDowell) tries to steal Vince away from him. By the end of the series, Ari is fired but things work out well for E, who begins dating Sloan, McQuewick's daughter. Ever loyal Vince decides to keep Ari as his agent, even after his dismissal.
