Vince is in the thick of the Aquaman furore as the film premieres and becomes a huge hit - garnering the highest-grossing opening weekend in movie history. Following the films success, Vince feels he should be able to pursue his passion project, Medellin. A film based on the life of The King of Cocaine, notorious drug lord, Pablo Escobar, however this is put into jeopardy when it conflicts with the Aquaman 2 filming schedule. After getting fired, Ari manages to set up a successful new talent agency, however it leads him to neglect his star client and he is fired as Vince's agent after his coarse methods result in failure to secure a film about punk band The Ramones. Attempting to get Vince back, Ari convinces him that he can secure Medellin for him but Vince's attractive new agent, Amanda Daniels, tries to steer Vince towards a different film. Despite their professional relationship, Vince and Amanda both admit to a mutual attraction for each other and start dating. When Medellin once again slips from Vince's grasp, he questions Amanda's motives. Though she can prove her legitimacy, due to his mistrust she drops him as both client and boyfriend. Vince brings Ari back who secures their dream project as Vince and E buy the rights to Medellin themselves. Billy Walsh is signed on as the director with E given his first shot at producer. E's relationship with Sloan comes into question when he has a threesome with her and her friend, Tori, who E is attracted to. However by the end of the series, things start to become serious as E moves in with Sloan. Meanwhile out-of luck actor Drama finally has some good news hes cast on new TV show Five Towns which becomes a huge hit.
