Eternals: Every Character Ranked From Worst To Best

Despite casting an actress of Angelina Jolie's caliber and star power, it's surprising that Thena ends up being perhaps the least-interesting of all the Eternals.

She looks amazing and fights with a balletic grace, but the "Mahd Wy'ry" subplot - where Thena basically suffers from dementia due to living for so long - adds bloat to an already overstuffed film without lending much intrigue to the character.

Jolie is clearly game to play a larger-than-life superhero and it's made evident that Thena is a legendary badass, but aside from her Excalibur-wielding fighting prowess, she's largely used as a prop to create additional conflict through her illness. It's all a bit dull, really.
