Every 2017 Comic Book Movie Ranked Worst To Best
12. Justice League
Considering the hype of Justice League and the unfortunately well-publicised difficulties on the production road, you would have thought that Warner Bros and Joss Whedon would have broken their backs to make sure that the finished product was as simple and effective as possible.
The reality is that despite some redeeming flashes, Justice League is a mess on the same level as Batman v Superman (it just happens that the redeeming points here are better). There's a better, more comic book like tone, but the story is awful, the villain terrifyingly bad and the plot-holes and gaps in logic cavernous. Even Ben Affleck's Batman is a low point, which is a particular shame if this ends up being his last appearance under the cowl.
If this is the film that kills the DCEU it will be a shame, but it won't be entirely unjustified.
