Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

34. Forces Of Nature (1999)

Ben Affleck Gone Girl Batman v Superman Pearl Harbor
DreamWorks

Another film remembered by many simply because it got cheekily referenced in a Kevin Smith film, Forces of Nature is a typical '90s rom-com that shoves two of the most famous young actors on the planet together and simply assumes that cinematic sparks will fly.

This inoffensively daft screwball comedy sees Affleck and Sandra Bullock's characters paired up after their flight is inexplicably grounded, setting them off on a road trip together as Affleck's Ben attempts to reach his wedding.

It's convoluted, weirdly directed, overlong, and a tonal mess, and yet kind of entertaining? It also doesn't take quite the predictable route you might expect from the premise, even if Affleck and Bullock's chemistry could be better. An interesting film, if not strictly a good one.
