Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

One of the most unexpected misfires of the last few years, The Last Thing He Wanted was Dee Rees' follow-up to her terrific Oscar-nominated film Mudbound, and seemed like it had all the potential to be an awards player itself.

And yet, this adaptation of Jane Didion's acclaimed novel was slated by critics for its appalling script, which was both boring and convoluted, ensuring the talented ensemble cast could do little to elevate it.

Despite fair efforts from Anne Hathaway and Willem Dafoe in particular, this is basically a nonsensical trainwreck that builds to an unintentionally hilarious conclusion - one that unfortunately involves a whole lot of Ben Affleck.
