Every Best Picture Oscar Winner Ranked Worst To Best
58. CODA (2021)
The surprise victor at the 2022 Oscars, CODA beat a slew of superior films but still - recency bias notwithstanding - feels like a deserving winner, bringing its story of a struggling deaf family to life with a heart-wrenchingly compelling cast and refreshing representation.
It's admittedly a touch predictable, but even though it's clear where everything's going, the way it captures the deaf experience and its touching family theme will surely keep you gripped - especially when its cast (namely Troy Kotsur) continuously outdo themselves with every scene.
