Every Denzel Washington Movie Ranked Worst To Best
32. The Manchurian Candidate (2004)
A remake of the 1962 classic of the same name, The Manchurian Candidate finds Washington trying his hand at a paranoid thriller, and bringing the film to life with an urgent energy it may have otherwise lacked.
The story of a soldier who believes he and his men have been brainwashed to do the bidding of a higher power, the movie is dark and relentless, brought to searing life by its star-studded cast - including a delightfully cold Meryl Streep.
It may lose points for predictability and some logical oversight plot-wise, but this is still Washington at his most engaging.
