In one of his few all-out duds, Washington headlines Virtuosity as a futuristic cop on the trail of a robotic serial killer, as played by an hilariously off-putting Russell Crowe.

With all the hallmarks of a tired 90s sci-fi flick that feels dated within weeks of release, Virtuosity finds Washington at his most wooden and out of place, though much of that is down to the film's painfully lacking script.

In a year that gave him two of his finest movies, Washington would've done well to stay clear of this one when it landed on his agent's desk.
