Every Denzel Washington Movie Ranked Worst To Best

This one might be too low for some people's liking, but it's hard to overlook the tonally jarring plot of Man on Fire, or its bloated runtime.

These slight issues aside, though, Tony Scott's vengeful thriller about a haunted former CIA agent who finds a new lease on life thanks to the girl he's hired to protect (Dakota Fanning) makes for one hell of an action showcase for Washington.

Raging, brutal, uncompromising, he anchors the film with a cold anger you wouldn't want to cross, foreshadowing his future involvement in The Equalizer in the process.
