These days Miley Cyrus is famous for exploits that would fall foul of Disney’s PG-13 remit and her offscreen persona has drawn criticism from parents groups such as The Children’s Television Council. The New York Post even claimed Cyrus “duped” young fans with her wholesome starring role in Hannah Montana, only to switch to a more provocative image.

Of course Disney have no control over Cyrus but they do have final say on the TV show that made her a star. Not that the Disney Channel hit needs much editing. It was already aimed at a pretty young audience to begin with. They have edited one scene so that a character referred to as Isis is now called Ice. Which is kinder than killing him off like poor Isis the dog from Downton Abbey.
