2. Gravity Falls
In this animated show the character Grunkle Stan wears a fez with a symbol that represents membership of The Royal Order Of The Holy Mackerel.
In early episodes the fez featured a crescent symbol but that was later exchanged for a fish like shape. Now on Disney+ while the fish shape remains the earlier crescent has been removed entirely.
Disney haven’t clarified the reason behind the censorship but they have drawn the ridicule of the Gravity Falls’ creator Alex Hirsch. Hirsch also voices Grunkle Stan on the show and leapt to comment on the edited out symbol on Twitter:
"Lol apparently the geniuses over at Disney+ decided to remove Grunkle Stan's fez symbol for no reason, but then accidentally left it in the thumbnails because even they can't keep track of what they're pretending to be concerned about this week."
