Amidst a whole bunch of flashing lights, Michael Myers slaughters Dr. Wynn and five or six doctors in an underground operating room during Curse's final act. Well, you have to presume that Wynn died here, for, regardless of us not actually seeing his death, Michael brutalises every single person in that room - of which Dr. Wynn was one of them.
In terms of how stupid these deaths were, opting to not only work with the Shape, but to try and control him with the whole Thorn stuff, that's a smidge naive, to say the least.
After all, what could possibly go wrong with a plan that involves working alongside an unhinged serial killer, right?
