EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity

Dr. Ranbir Sartain - Halloween (2018)

And at the top spot, with the most stupid, idiotic death in the franchise - at least, in terms of the decisions a character made - is Dr. Ranbir Sartain.

Having spent decades monitoring Michael Myers, working under the iconic, erratic Sam Loomis, Dr. Sartain is another prime case of 'be careful what you wish for.'

Sartain was desperate to see Michael in action, out in the wild in his natural environment, and so it's revealed that he orchestrated the bus crash that saw Michael escape at the start of the 2018 Halloween picture. Not just that, but Sartain also attacked Deputy Hawkins and left him for dead so that he could take Michael to Laurie Strode's house for a big ol' reunion, and he even bafflingly put on Michael's iconic mask at one point.

Of course, this all ended the worst way possible for Sartain, as he gets to see first-hand what Michael can do, with the Shape stomping his head into mush in one of the most memorable kills of that movie and the wider Halloween franchise. And while memorable is always good, let's face it, Dr. Sartain was a total idiot who deserved everything that came his way.
