Every Halloween Movie (They Never Actually Made)
20. Halloween V Pitches
Pitches for Halloween V began a little differently to the niece-stalking, mental hospital themed Halloween 5 that was released, with Shem Bitterman's version having Jamie being far more evil whilst Michael hunted her, and a 35 person death toll dished out along the way.
Robert Harders suggested a Frankenstein story instead, however, where Myers was a sympathetic character brought back to light by lightning. No longer evil and vilified by Haddonfield, Loomis was out to protect him this time around.
And the director of Halloween 4 would have done it differently still, with Dwight H. Little stating: "I would have had Michael either dug up or crawled out of the hole and had an explanation on how long he was down there. I would have told the story going forward with Rachel and Jamie and watched her dark possession evolve. My version would have been a little more from a character point of view."
A POV Myers movie could have been really interesting, here.
