Every Headline MCU Protagonist Ranked From Worst To Best

The original Wasp was one of the most heroic characters from both the comics and the MCU itself, as she was the sole reason a missile didn't land and destroy countless lives. With this in mind, her daughter Hope Van Dyne had a lot to live up to, and for the most part, she did.

Hope is a character who originally comes off as antagonistic and even somewhat unlikable due to the way she treats Scott. However, through the course of the film, we get to learn about her and all the problems she's faced in her life, including the loss of her mother and detachment from her father, and it's through this that she grows and becomes a genuinely lovable character.

She got even better in the second movie once she properly turned into the Wasp and was able to fight right alongside Ant-Man in both their own films and in The Avengers.

The only downside is that she doesn't get as much screen time as she deserves, and in turn, her character can feel a bit underdeveloped at times.
