Every Headline MCU Protagonist Ranked From Worst To Best
13. T'Challa - Black Panther
While Scott Lang is fun and whimsical, T’Challa is strict and closely adheres to his beliefs and way of thinking. Being the King of Wakanda comes with a lot of responsibilities, and because of this, T’Challa is a character that’s much harder to relate to compared to others.
However, this doesn’t mean he’s a lousy protagonist. Even though he’s a king, he’s still someone who has a defined and admirable outlook on life. He believes nobody deserves to die, or that if you have a different opinion from him on whatever topic, that’s not necessarily a reason to fight.
Even though he wants Wakanda to live in peace and strives to avoid jumping to violence, the conflict that arises from people like Killmonger shows that even he can grow and change like all human beings and learn from other people who think differently from him.
The Black Panther is very different from most heroes we’ve seen in the cinematic universe, but even so, he’s still someone who’s made an impression not only in his film but also in the MCU as a whole.
