There are other clowns seemingly hidden in the background too. Mike has a vintage clown poster on the wall in his apartment above the library, which is a strange choice of decor for someone who was haunted by one. Perhaps it's a case of better the devil you know.

It's not just any vintage clown poster either - it's actually one for the Derry Canal Days Festival and Fun House, featuring none other than Pennywise beaming brightly out of it. Again, you have to suspect It put it there himself.

And while it's more obscure, there's also a bottle on the back of the bar in the guest house the Losers all stay in that is designed to look like a clown too.
