Every Hidden Pennywise From IT Chapter 1 & 2

5. Henry Bowers' Drawings - It Chapter Two

Henry Bowers It Chapter 2
Warner Bros.

Despite his escape from death's clutches being pretty unlikely given the way he fell down the well in the first movie, Henry Bowers is back in Chapter Two and he's got murder on his mind once more. But in order to get back at the Losers, he first has to navigate his escape from the psychiatric hospital he's been held at for almost 30 years.

It naturally busts him out since he's still one of the creature's pawns, using the reanimated corpse Hockstetter as a valet and chauffeur. Yes really. To get him out, we see Henry follow a red balloon back to his private room, where the signs of his mental torment are emblazoned on the walls in the form of disturbing sketches.

As well as monstrous drawings, there are images of Hockstetter when he was alive and most interestingly a shot of what appears to be the deadlights, drawn in an angry orange. That could also be a callback to the books when Bowers communicates with It through what he thinks is a "ghost moon."

Clearly, those sketches capture how It appeared to Bowers while he was locked up.
