Alright, fine, it was expected this would be 2014's biggest hit but that doesn't make it any less painful.
One wouldn't think there'd be enough fans of robots punching each other - but with extra baggage of immaturity, offensive content and a generally obnoxious vibe - to make this such huge a hit, yet the series still turned out its second billion-dollar movie. Even now, box office results never fail to surprise in a bad way.
Even those who watch this with their brain switched off will probably find it insufferable. No matter how much you just want to enjoy the action, the lack of plot, total monotony and outrageously bloated length will have you nodding off quickly.
This is slightly better than MI2 though, thanks to solid cinematography, some hilariously obvious product placement and good performances from Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci.
