Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best
27. Andrea Anders - The Man With The Golden Gun
Andrea Anders (Maud Adams) is an initially promising character, for she has a certain steely screen-presence and more of a story than many of the early Bond Girls. The lover of Francisco Scaramanga, the film's main villain, she wants to escape him and, during the film's second act, is revealed to have sent a golden bullet to Bond in order to bring the two together and have Bond kill Scaramanga.
Unfortunately, she feels more like a plot device than a character in the end (yet again) and since she doesn't really do anything much in the time she's on-screen, she's yet another character who was just a bit of a waste of potential in the end.
She's ultimately found murdered by Scaramanga, who discovered her betrayal. Bond's disinterested reaction to her death is maybe one of his most d**kish moments in the series.
