Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best

21. Miss Taro - Dr No

James Bond Girls Ranked
United Artists

Here, we come to the first-ever female Bond villain. And she's... fine. Just fine. It's a small part and not a developed one, but Miss Taro (Zena Marshall) is not unlikeable either and she makes for quite an amusing villain too.

She works for the chief secretary of Jamaica's colonial government, but is in fact an informant for Doctor Julius No (Joseph Wiseman), the main villain of the film. She tries to lure Bond to his death by getting him to drive to her residence, via a road where a group of assassins are waiting, but Bond kills them and arrives at her flat anyway.

Their encounter ends in a hilarious way. After she and Bond have sex, she thinks Bond has called a cab for them but it turns out to be a police car and he dumps her in the back seat, leaving her hissing at him as she's driven off. He quips "Be careful of her nail polish" as the car leaves.
