Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best

12. Camille Montes - Quantum Of Solace

James Bond Girls Ranked
MGM

Behold, the most underrated Bond Girl of all time.

Camila Montes (Olga Kurylenko) is under-used throughout this messy albeit underrated Bond flick, but she's actually a hell of a lot better than many give her credit for.

While Bond is trying to kill the people who were responsible for Vesper Lynd's death, she is also trying to kill General Medrano (Joaquin Cossio) - one of the most depraved and sick characters in any Bond film - who murdered her entire family when she was a small child. Therefore, she has a thought-provoking story going on.

While she and Bond do share a kiss, they don't sleep together and are more like close friends who are enduring - and trying to overcome - the same trauma side by side. They have a very interesting dynamic as a result and some of the quieter dialogue scenes between them (as they face their personal demons together) are very moving. It's also enormously satisfying when she finally murders the general.

Overall, Camila is a thoroughly compelling character who adds a lot of bittersweet emotion to the film and she's definitely one of the finest Bond Girls of the Daniel Craig films.
