Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best
11. Honey Ryder - Dr No
Most were probably expecting to see Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress) in the top three at the very least, but while she is a classic Bond Girl, she's not necessarily at the top of the list.
She doesn't do all that much (aside from guide Bond around the island) and many of the most interesting parts of her character - her educating herself via an encyclopaedia, the death of her father, her killing a man who abused her - happen before the film's story and are only discussed.
Aside from these issues though, Honey Ryder is a very good character. Her walk out of the sea is, of course, the stuff of legend and impressively, Ryder maintains that high level of glamour, confidence and charm all through the rest of the film.
Factor in Ryder's chemistry with Bond and the strong dialogue the character receives and you've got a Bond Girl who is, flaws and all, an all-timer for the archetype. And let's face it, she's too iconic not to rank highly.
