Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Tracy Bond - On Her Majesty's Secret Service

James Bond Girls Ranked
United Artists

Tracy Bond (Diana Rigg) is the best Bond Girl of the original run of the series and it's not even close.

The troubled daughter of a European gangster, Tracy pretty much had it all. She's psychologically complex, endlessly charismatic, has killer chemistry with James Bond and was superbly played by the late, great Diana Rigg. Also, she actually does things like help Bond escape from Blofeld (Telly Salvalas) and fight henchmen during the finale, which was incredibly satisfying given how inactive most early Bond Girls were.

In the original series, she was the only Bond Girl to really capture Bond's heart to the extent that they actually got married and given just how wonderful she is as a character, it's not hard to see why. After all, there are very few relationships throughout the series which felt as powerful and loving as the relationship between Bond and Tracy did.

Of course, Tracy does ultimately die at the hands of Blofeld only a few hours after she and Bond are married and that ending is still extremely upsetting to this day, especially since this happened to such a fantastic character.

It's hard not to put her at number one, but she did have an incredibly creepy father and she wasn't mentioned enough in subsequent films; besides, there is someone even better...
