Every James Bond Henchmen Ranked

38. Richard Stamper - Tomorrow Never Dies

Adolph Gettler James Bond
MGM

Richard Stamper (Gotz Otto) is yet another large, strong henchman. This one is German and works for Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce) in Tomorrow Never Dies.

He's also another completely inferior imitation of Red Grant and although Otto's performance is OK, the character is a formulaic bore for the most part. He is said to be very skilled in the art of torture in one scene and that could've made him a scarier villain, but unfortunately this was never really expanded upon.

Richard Stamper is a better villain than his boss, but that's not really saying anything, since Elliot Carver is arguably one of the worst Bond villains ever. He eventually gets blown up by Carver's missile.
