Every Jared Leto Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

19. Sunset Strip (2000)

Jared Leto Suicide Squad
Fox

Sunset Strip is just one of many identikit "hangout movies" released in this era, set in 1972 and exploring the travails of a group of young people over a single 24-hour period on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip.

The comparisons to Dazed and Confused speaks for themselves, and while this pales massively by comparison, it's basically watchable enough, largely thanks to the efforts of a cast including Leto, Anna Friel, Tommy Flanagan, Nick Stahl, Adam Goldberg, Rory Cochrane, and Simon Baker.

Leto plays country rocker Glen Walker and certainly understands the assignment, giving one of the movie's most amusing performances as the rootin' tootin' cowboy.

This isn't a film many will remember for long, but it's fitfully entertaining despite being blatantly derivative of far superior works.
