Every Jared Leto Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

Leto co-stars with Salma Hayek in this largely forgotten 2006 crime drama where the pair play the infamous "Lonely Hearts Killers," who in the late 1940s murdered more than a dozen women.

While certainly overfamiliar and a little undercooked, this is still a moderately entertaining Bonnie and Clyde-esque yarn, with Leto perfectly cast as the superficially suave young man harbouring a dark secret.

He and Hayek play off one another well, though the film never quite realises a fair balance between their story and the more conventional detective yarn featuring John Travolta and James Gandolfini.

The performances are rock solid across the board, though, even if Laura Dern desperately needed more screen time.
