Every Jared Leto Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

23. Urban Legend (1998)

Jared Leto Suicide Squad
Sony Pictures

Urban Legend is one of those trashy cult movies that boasts a brilliant premise yet can't quite realise its full potential.

A slasher film revolving around a series of murders based on famous urban legends, this was widely dismissed as a tepid Scream rip-off at the time of its release, though it has its own kitschy vibe that ensures it's modest fun to a point.

Leto is part of a cast of young up-and-comers including Alicia Witt, Rebecca Gayheart, Tara Reid, Michael Rosenbaum, and Joshua Jackson, accompanied by horror veterans such as Danielle Harris, Robert Englund, and Brad Dourif.

It's certainly no Scream, and Leto famously pretended in an interview that he wasn't even in the film, but it's a solidly trashy watch all the same.
