Every Live-Action Disney Movie Remake Ranked Worst To Best
19. Lady & The Tramp
Though certainly not the most offensive Disney remake, it's telling that almost nobody brings up Charlie Bean's Lady and the Tramp even barely three years after it first hit Disney+.
It's.. fine. Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux are charming enough in the title roles, and it gets points for using real dogs, but the digitally superimposed mouth movements look janky-as-hell, to be kind.
Overall this is a competent yet completely unremarkable film that struggles to shake the cheap whiff of being a Disney+ Original - it doesn't look premium quality and more-or-less simply settles for being "good enough."
It doesn't commit any egregious sins, though, which keeps it comfortably away from last place.
