Every Live-Action Disney Movie Remake Ranked Worst To Best

18. 102 Dalmatians

101 Dalmatians Alice in Wonderland The Jungle Book
Disney

After 101 Dalmatians grossed more than $300 million globally in 1996, it was only inevitable that Disney would be back for more. And in the very least, the hilariously unimaginatively-titled 102 Dalmatians brings Glenn Close back for another stab at Cruella de Vil.

A typical law of diminishing returns sequel, 102 Dalmatians is more-or-less the same movie again, so in the very least it benefits from Glenn Close's go-for-broke performance and some killer costume design.

But basically everything is operating at a more familiar, less entertaining register than the first time around, ensuring it failed to light the same spark with audiences, grossing barely half of what its predecessor did.
