34. Taserface - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2

Plan: To restore the honour of Yondu's Ravager faction by removing him, taking down the Guardians of the Galaxy and killing Peter Quill.

Status: Deceased.

Having Taserface clash with Yondu over the leadership of the Ravagers is a good story element in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, but it's just a shame that he's played as a fool who isn't really up to the job. That is, of course, the point - and his whole shtick around his name works well because he's an idiot - but he's by no means a good villain.

He is your paint-by-numbers bad guy side-kick with aspirations above his station: he's definitely despicable, killing Yondu's loyalists in a particularly grim manner and tormenting Groot, but he loses points for not killing or locking away the little guy because he's "too adorable." That's not good villain behaviour.

Ultimately he's killed off during Yondu's excellent escape sequence and nobody will miss him.
