Every Matt Damon Movie Ranked Worst To Best

Considering director Alexander Payne spent nearly a decade working on the script for Downsizing, the film sure has a problem with executing its biggest themes.

A movie which sees a couple (Damon and Kristen Wiig) decide to take part in a daring experiment that will shrink them and give them a new life, Downsizing asks some big questions, tackles tough subject matter, but never fully sticks the landing.

The performances of Damon and co-star Hong Chau are fantastic, but the mix of genres and an inability to push itself lets the film down in the end.
