Every Matt Damon Movie Ranked Worst To Best

The Good Old Boys is a western made-for-TV movie directed by star Tommy Lee Jones. Co-starring a splendid Sissy Spacek, the film has a lot to love on the surface, from the striking cinematography and the leading performances.

Unfortunately, though, the whole thing is a rather forgettable affair that loses its excitement early on. Damon's small role as a young, naive cowboy sees him missing for large swathes of runtime, and as a whole the movie never offers audiences a big enough hook to keep them engaged.
